Serve as a Honeywell DCS/SIS or Process Control/Control System Engineer as well as Lead Engineer for Pre-commissioning & commissioning activity in various projects. Commissioning phase: • Develop ESD/FGS FTP procedures. More than 800 FTP procedures were completed, including SATs, Bitmap, C&E and functional tests. • Testing for ESD/DCS Start-up/Shutdown sequences on OTS (Operator Training Simulator). • MOCs/Work packs developing, review, implementation, quality control for ESD/FGS systems. • HMI developing and optimization. • Integration with DCS system, bitmap check. • Site equipment mounting supervision. • Control System Site Acceptance Test performing and supervising. • Loop check support. • ESD/FGS Logic review, update, download & check in accordance to C&E diagrams, P&ID and Control Narratives - “Off-line\On-Line”. • Act as test lead on Initial functional tests, “Dry” and “Wet” tests of plant units. (Steam Boilers, Claus/Scot/Incinerator burners, Dehydration units, Sulfur removal, Fresh water, Instrument Air compressors, Nitrogen skid and other utilities and units). • Lineup, startup and operations support of Gas Plant burners, boilers and other units. • Safety Integrity Function testing Operations phase: • Maintenance, reliability and availability of Honeywell Safety System located at Gas Plant, Gathering Station & Well Pads. • Bypasses and Maintenance Overrides to ensure safety devices are in place and functioning. • Enforce effective Management of Change (MOC) of SIS modification requests from the O&M. • Support Operations in investigating incidents to identify, communicate and correct root causes of incidents to reduce the likelihood of recurrence. • Pursue safety system improvement opportunities through routine system assessments and performance reviews and following Management of change (MOC) process. • Maintain accurate safety instrument function (SIF) and Independent Protection Layer (IPL) lists for all process units. • Conduct regular SIS audits to ensure the Safety Lifecycle is being followed effectively. • Participate in PHA, SOA, Risk Assessments and Technical Functional reviews of Changes. • Identify Maintenance testing requirements and development of proof testing procedures. • Logic modifications and Implementation in plant operations “On-Line”. • New units commissioning, loopcheck, functional test etc. • Safety Manager migration from old to new release.
